.960 Sneak Peek: J-Kick #1

During the holiday break, I posted a link to the The Bernard Childcare Trust Refill, one of the two "top secret" projects that has been occupying my time over the last few months. As I mentioned then, I didn't have the opportunity to spend as much time with it as I would have liked, but I'm still proud of my involvement with the refill and enjoyed working with several, extremely talented Reason sound designers.

With that project revealed, I have just one secret project to steal my time away from the blog, and while I'm not ready to make any announcements about what I've been working on, I thought I'd share an early, sneak peek at what you can expect. So, today's "patch" is actually just a sample from that project: a deep, heavy kick drum.

Anyone care to offer a guess about what I've been working on? A single kick drum sample isn't much to go on, but the answer might not be much more complicated than what little I've revealed today. More on this particular project later....
